Playing in an adult volleyball league gives you an opportunity to stay active, spend time with friends, and meet new people. We have players from all skill levels - whether you play in AVP tournaments, were a high school star, or are brand new to the sport - there is a league for you!

SKILL LEVELS

We offer recreational, intermediate, and competitive divisions for our sand volleyball leagues, which are shown on each league registration.

Recreational (C) - Players are new to the sport or their top priority is to have fun.
Intermediate (B) - This division is a step up from recreational, with players wanting a little more competition. Players in this division also have some experience in the sport and have a good knowledge of the rules.
Upper-Intermediate (BB) - This division is a step up from intermediate, with players wanting more competition but not at the A level.
Competitive (A) - Players have a lot of experience playing the sport and strong knowledge of the rules. Their top priority is competition.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

SAND VOLLEYBALL

We have a lot going on with Sand Volleyball!

SAND LEAGUES
We organize leagues March through November (and occasionally during the Winter) at the Sandbox (Uptown), Renaissance Park (South Charlotte) and Belmont Social House (Belmont).

League play is organized Sundays through Thursdays and coed is primarily the format with some smaller men's and women's programs available.

Different levels of play are offered: Recreational (C ), Intermediate (B), Upper Intermediate (BB), Competitive (A+)
We offer different formats: doubles (Upper Intermediate & Competitive), 3v3 (Upper Intermediate), 4v4 (Intermediate & Upper Intermediate), 6v6 (Recreational)

SAND TOURNAMENTS
We offer full and mini-tournaments throughout the year (mostly Spring & Summer). Full tournaments are normally Saturdays while we host mini tournaments such as Mix N Matches primarily on Thursdays and Fridays but occasionally on Saturdays and Sunday mornings.

Full Tournaments normally require you to sign up as a team, while mini-tournaments normally allow you to sign up as an individual and be assigned to teams at the appropriate level.

SAND CLINICS
We offer skill clinics for most levels of players. These are normally short (one hour) events with pickup play available after the clinics. Clinics are normally on the weekends and at the Sandbox. CLICK HERE for upcoming clinics.

COURT RENTALS
When we have courts available, they typically can be rented for play. Typically they are available during the weekdays before 5pm, Fridays 5-7pm and intermittently on the weekends. CLICK HERE for more information on how to rent courts.

PICKUP PLAY
SportsLink occasionally organizes pickup play. Pickup play opportunities can be found HERE. For those looking for pickup play, we highly recommend joining our Facebook Group: Charlotte Volleyball Scene. People post pickup play opportunities there and you can post your own interests in playing.

GRASS VOLLEYBALL

We typically host doubles leagues during the Summer (June-August). You can find grass volleyball league information HERE.
We occasionally do tournaments or pickup play.

INDOOR VOLLEYBALL

We typically host leagues, tournaments and Mix N Matches during late Fall through Winter (October-February). You can find indoor volleyball league information HERE.

Ever see us talk about Mix N Match and think, “Wait… what is that?” We got you! 🙌 A Mix N Match is a mini tournament!

Here’s how it works:
