Grass volleyball is a fun and competitive sport that is growing in popularity across the United States. Charlotte just happens to be a great area to play between March through November!

League Information

WHO CAN PLAY?

SportsLink invites all adults (18+) with an active membership (SL Passport) to participate in our leagues.

Regardless of your race, color, sex, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, we invite you to come out and play with us!

FORMAT

Currently, all of our grass volleyball leagues are COED, but we do offer women's and men's tournaments.

2v2 Upper-Intermediate and Competitive

SKILL LEVELS

We offer upper-intermediate and competitive divisions for our grass volleyball leagues, which are shown on each league registration.

Upper-Intermediate (BB) - Players in this division have experience in the sport and a good knowledge of the rules. Players are competitive, but a step down from the A level.
Competitive (A) - Players have a lot of experience playing the sport and strong knowledge of the rules. Their top priority is competition.

PLAYER EXPERIENCE

Teams will be provided league administration and equipment for each game. All volleyball games are self-officiated.

Prizes will be distributed to the winning teams in each division, and all players with an active player's card can enjoy our monthly player perks.

  Team: $160 Individual: $80
- THIS IS A REVCO DIVISION.
  - Coed teams in a doubles format will compete on a women's height net. With a lower net height, male players cannon block and follow restrictions on when they can attack.
- Games will be played at Midwood Park.
- Teams are guaranteed 10 games (9 regular season + 1 playoff).
- Teams will have double headers most weeks.
- Players will need to help set up/take down nets as of participation.
- League participants are eligible for one free entry into a SportsLink doubles volleyball tournament (per team basis).
- League starts may be delayed due to prior season rainouts/circumstances.
- All players must have a Valid SL passport to participate.

Each year, we have hundreds of individuals join our volleyball leagues and make new friends! Whether you are new to Charlotte or don't have a partner for a grass volleyball league, we invite you to sign up as an individual so that we can pair you with a partner of similar skillset.
